- Engineering Degree - At least a Second Class degree or equivalent :- Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgical, Textile, Chemical, Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication in any other branch of Engineering.
- Science/Maths Degree – At least a Second Class Honours degree in :- Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry.

- Management Degree – MBA or Post Graduate Diploma from an AICTE recognized institution.
- Pharmacy – Degree in Pharmacy from an AICTE-recognized institution / university.
- Chartered Accountant – Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Cost & Works Accountant – Membership of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
- Silk Technology – Degree or equivalent qualification in Silk Technology / Management from an AICTE recognized institution.
- Leather Technology – Degree or equivalent qualification in Leather Technology from an AICTE recognized institution / university.
